“Customer”, “you”, “your” — any individual aged 18 or over residing in the United Kingdom who uses our website or purchases products or services from us.

“Consultation” — a skincare consultation provided by our certified skin specialist via video, audio or written communication.

“Services” — all skincare consultations, personalised skincare plans, product recommendations and any other services provided by Skin Medic Skin Care Limited.

“Products” — any physical skincare products sold through our website.

“Platform” — our website at www.skinmedicskincare.com and any associated mobile or tablet applications.

“Skin Expert” — a certified skincare specialist employed by or contracted to Skin Medic Skin Care Limited to deliver consultations and personalised advice.

“Order” — your request to purchase products or services from us, submitted via our website or booking system.

“POM” — Prescription-Only Medicine, which may only be supplied following an appropriate consultation and assessment by a qualified prescriber.

References to writing or written include email. Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa.

3. Use of Our Website

By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.

We reserve the right to restrict access to parts of our website without notice. We are not responsible for any third-party websites linked from our site.

4. Products and Services

4.1 Product Information We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images and prices on our website are accurate. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free. All products sold on our website are genuine, medical-grade skincare products from authorised brands including Obagi Medical and ZO Skin Health. We are an authorised retailer of both brands.

4.2 Prescription-Only Medicines (POM) Some products available on our website are Prescription-Only Medicines (POM). These products can only be purchased following a consultation with our qualified prescriber. We reserve the right to refuse supply of POM products without an appropriate consultation and assessment by a qualified professional.

4.3 Skincare Consultations Free and paid consultations offered through our website are provided for skincare informational purposes. They do not constitute medical advice or a medical diagnosis. Results from any skincare programme will vary between individuals. We recommend consulting your GP before starting any new skincare regimen, particularly if you have any underlying skin conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

5. Minimum Age Requirement

Skin Medic Skin Care Limited does not provide consultations or sell products to individuals under the age of 18. By using our website, booking a consultation or placing an order, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

We reserve the right to cancel any order or consultation and refuse service where we have reason to believe the customer is under the age of 18.

6. Customer Obligations

By using our website and services, you agree to:

• Provide honest, accurate and complete information to our Skin Experts and to us as and when requested. We are not liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of inaccurate information provided by you.
• Use our platform for personal, domestic and non-commercial purposes only.
• Not use our platform in cases of medical emergency. In any medical emergency, please contact the emergency services immediately (999 in the UK).
• Take sole responsibility for assessing whether our services are suitable and sufficient for your needs.

6.1 Unacceptable Behaviour We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse service, without liability, where you are found to be acting in an inappropriate manner towards any Skin Expert or any member of our team. Inappropriate behaviour includes but is not limited to threatening, abusive or offensive behaviour, use of foul or discriminatory language, harassment of any kind, or any behaviour that our team reasonably considers to be inappropriate or harmful.

7. Skin Expert Responsibility

Our Skin Experts are certified skincare professionals who are individually responsible for the skincare advice they provide to customers during consultations. Skin Medic Skin Care Limited is not liable for the specific advice provided by a Skin Expert to a customer, except where such advice was given under our direct instruction.

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to provide honest and accurate information to the Skin Expert. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.

8. Ordering and Payment

8.1 Placing an Order When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) at the stated price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. Acceptance of your order occurs when we dispatch it.

8.2 Pricing All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of ordering.

8.3 Payment We accept payment by major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed securely. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Consultations

9.1 Cancellation by You If you wish to cancel or reschedule a booked consultation, you must provide us with a minimum of 24 hours’ written notice by email to info@skinmedicskincare.com. Consultations cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling at our discretion.

9.2 Cancellation by Us We reserve the right to postpone, amend or cancel any consultation at any time. In the event of cancellation by us, we will notify you as far in advance as possible and will offer either a new appointment or a full refund of any consultation fee paid. We are not liable for any loss or compensation arising from a cancellation, except where due to our negligence.

9.3 No-Show Policy If you fail to attend a booked consultation without providing the required 24 hours’ notice, the consultation fee (if applicable) will not be refunded.

10. Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2–3 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and chosen delivery method. We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. If your order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at info@skinmedicskincare.com.

11. Returns and Refunds

11.1 Your Right to Cancel Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please notify us in writing at info@skinmedicskincare.com within 14 days of receipt.

11.2 Conditions for Returns To be eligible for a return, products must be unused and in their original sealed condition, in the original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of opened or used skincare products unless they are faulty or not as described.

11.3 Refunds Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method. You are responsible for the cost of returning items unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, graphics and product descriptions — is owned by or licensed to Skin Medic Skin Care Limited and is protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from our website without our prior written permission.

13. Confidentiality

We will treat all information provided by you during consultations as confidential. We will not disclose your personal or health information to any third party except where required by law or where necessary to provide our services. The confidentiality provisions of this clause shall survive the termination of any contract between us.

14. Limitation of Liability

Our liability shall not exceed the total price paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Skin Medic Skin Care Limited shall have no liability if we are prevented from or delayed in performing our obligations by acts, events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemic, strikes, failure of utility or telecommunications services, or any government-imposed restrictions. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable if such an event affects our ability to fulfil your order or consultation.

16. Severance

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without our prior written consent. We may at any time assign, transfer or sub-contract any or all of our rights and obligations, provided that your rights are not materially affected.

18. No Partnership or Agency

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions creates a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship between you and Skin Medic Skin Care Limited. Neither party has authority to act in the name of or bind the other party in any way.

19. Waiver

No failure or delay by us in exercising any right or remedy shall constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Skin Medic Skin Care Limited and supersede all previous agreements and understandings relating to the subject matter.

21. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

22. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
